Preparing and More

So it seams that sometimes life gets so crazy when you just want to be lazy and silly and not take anything seriously. But somehow life throws you into this mode that you Have to behave and get serious to an extent - if that's possible for some of us. Preparing for librarians who are amazingly brilliant and here I am preparing a class to teach them poetry and all when I'm the most free spirited - break the rules type of person that it's seems precarious. But then I remember that laughing lifts you up, and I mean literally up highly. Just picture the scene in Mary Poppins when Mary Poppins and the children are at the tea party. They laugh and laugh until they are to the ceiling. So today I'm laughing and laughing and raising my energy for this awesome day tomorrow. Here's a sample of poetry:

Magical-syllables
arranging letters into words
energizing-powerful
thoughts blend into verse
imagery-forming
the writer the reader
communicating-arranging
that's what poetry is.

What is a poetry blurb? This is a poetry blurb:

I know of a place where children love to go
Where the portal of magical wonder flows.

Fluffy cloud sofas crowded with children content
reading and sharing their time is well spent.

Shelves along walls, blocks large and small
stacked with immeasurable stories for all.

Poetry, news, children's books and more
the magical formula your community will adore.

It's strikingly inviting during holidays there
join Santa, the Easter Bunny, and Scarecrow if you dare.

It is daring to pass through the magical portal -you see
where all that exists is perpetual enjoyment and glee.

This magical place is found in all towns, cities, and states
just wander to your local library that's all it takes.

The library is a spectacular marvelous place to be
so, get your bike, your car, or your feet, and visit your local library.

Round Mountain library gets the award in our hearts
for making time spent there memorable, with the joy it imparts.


So let me just tell you there's much more than this in my magical formula of library bliss.
It may be silly in some of the speech but a creative and magical brew is cooking and I can 't wait till tomorrow a big day indeed, endlessly happily a day never to forget.
